    It all started with my grandma who had a wonderful china collection. My mom inherited her love of the "pretty stuff" and I learned from her and expanded to old books, pens, prints, and furniture in addition to pretty teacups and plates... basically anything that comes with a story that I can learn and brings me joy. I got into vintage jewelry recently (because they are so sparkly and take up less room than say, a sideboard) which led me to this wonderful site! I think it's amazing that the history of individuals and even the world can be told through objects and that having those objects, whether inherited or thrifted, is a way to remember people and era in our fast-paced times.

    Looking forward to contributing to the community!
