    Nice to meet you all. I will have to read all of your introductions. Here is mine.
    I grew up in North West Phoenix. My father would pick up things from flea markets, people he knew, and sell at a large Phoenix flea market on the weekends. This was secondary income and I think he found it necessary but also some enjoyment in it. Our house had some interesting things, furniture. I think this is where I got my appreciation for interesting objects. Sometimes I'll find something that I have no clue what it is or who made it but it might look interesting and I'll buy it just to do the research and find out what it is. Like the piece I am asking for help to identify. It was in a tiny and out of the way thrift shop. I only paid a couple of dollars for it. I thought the bottom looked like Majorlica (Spain), but the figures are bisque and look German. I've never seen such a combination! No identification mark and nothing like it online. This is the sort of thing that I consider a hobby. To buy something just to find out what it is.
