    Acquired this set of six chairs from an estate sell. Was looking into getting them recaned, but read online that these could possible be worth something. Does anyone have any information on the these chairs? Also, if not worth anything any ideas on what type of place to contact to have someone recaned and about how much it may cost?

    Where you are will determine the cost, if a tradesman is in your area.
    Is that tiger maple?

    Are there holes drilled on perimeter of seat? If so about $2. per hole or aprox $165. per chair. Bets there is someone close to you that does this kind of repair, i would google and find out.
