Hello everyone - I picked this up yesterday and now have no idea what I've got. It appears to be an advertising celery or tray for a company with branches in Beaver Falls, New Brighton, and Ambridge. After a little searching I found out that these are neighboring towns in Pennsylvania and that Beaver Falls was the home of Cooperative-Flint. After that I sort of hit a brick wall and I don't have a book on that particular company. I also can't quite read the script of the company being advertised. Martson's perhaps? Does anyone know anything about this piece? Thanks for whatever info you can provide.

    I. H. Martsolf, about 26 years old, had a drugstore in "Beaver" in 1880. The older generation (they seem to have been there a while) made shoes.

I also found a Martsolf furniture store. Thanks for your help folks! I've messaged a picture to their Facebook page in case they want to include it on their site.

the pattern is Magna by Co-Operative Flint Glass c1898, and the form seems to match the pickle dish shown in their catalog
edit: looking closer at the catalog pick this looks a bit longer than the pickle so probably a celery

    Hi Tallcakes,
Did you mean ©1898 or ©1888?
