This vase has beautiful bevels and a long ring when tapped. The blank is very clear. It's 10 5/8" tall, weighs 3 1/2 lbs. Looking for the experts here to weigh in on possible date range. I'm thinking mid 1800s but I certainly could be wrong. There's a ton of shelf wear on the bottom that covers a 1/2 wide, slightly grayed band around the bottom.

    Thanks for the help!

I'd go along with 1840-1860, based upon design and shelf wear. Based upon the long ring-time, it's flint glass, made with a high percentage of PbO, lead oxide.

Thank you, Cherryhill! I was looking in Dorothy Daniel's "Cut and Engraved Glass 1771-1905" and see a couple of similar pieces attributed to Ritchie Glass and Sweeney Glass of West Virginia. Not saying mine is either, just that they appear to be similar.
