Hi- we found this plate in my Grandfather’s house. The only makings are the red numbers on the back. I searched and searched the internet and can’t find anything like the pattern or markings. Does anyone have any ideas? Also, I included pictures of Mitterteuich Bavaria. Does anyone know anything about this specific pattern? Thank you so much for your help.

The pink one looks like transferware. Sometimes the maker's name is impressed in the bottom and when glazed over is difficult to see, much less read.

No clue on the top one about whodunnit, but I'd lay odds it's German too from the same era.

Thank you. I can see through the the top plate. Very translucent. There is nothing covered up. So strange. Thanks for the info on the Mitterteich

The pink plate - the 927 is the style number, not sure what the other number is. Could be a date, decorator, shape etc.
Need a close up of the pattern to decide if transfer or hand painted.

I'm guessing either English or German. Late 1800s. Very pretty. People like roses.
