I am started to get interested in pewter, specifically early American New England pewter. Interested in any kind of piece right now.

I am very very new to this. Have started looking at books and resources but was curious if anyone here had any recommendations on a known American pewter maker (older the better) that would be relatively easy to obtain at a reasonable price?

Appreciate any info you can give. Thanks!

Buy the best you can find , at a price you can afford.....is a good way to proceed.:hungry:

Get some good books on the subject , and study hard !;)

Learn how to identify what you want , so you can snag items that sellers are uncertain of !:wideyed::wideyed:
