Help! I can't read British sterling marks

    This just appeared in an teapot1.jpg teapot2.jpg online auction, estate of an elderly professor with ties to England. Can someone please decipher these marks for me?

    Sterling silver by the maker Walker & Hall, made in Sheffield date letter 1924.
