Hi well I wish it has a signature so I could look it up myself, it is not one they are two of them actually I bought a case with a few of them some with frame others without a frame they are all small up to 12 by 8 inches all I know is they are old and well painted

I’m not sure what country these are from, but the people sure have tiny hands and feet.

 

They could be from Navarra, northern Spain.

I have no idea how they can keep their balance on those tiny feet.

 

I thought they might be Spanish too. The one male figure appears to be wearing albarcas.

They look like studies in traditional regional dress. Altogether they might provide more information as to location. But, as above, northern Spain a possibility. And although charming, unlikely you'll ever be able to identify artist. Perhaps the laid paper has a watermark?
