Yours appears to be a little vintage watercolor done by an amateur artist. Almost impossible to identify, I'd think.

Looks like it says ‘71, R Gay, but that’s all I’ve got....am assuming you’ve looked for that name?

It does indeed. A somewhat more accomplished work.

As always, it would be helpful to see the original frame. It's design helps with dating which, in turn, helps with identifying an artist.

The second work was listed as 19th century. I wouldn't assume that's the case. (The frame itself was done in the last 20 years.)

Ah, here's two other works by H.R. Gay in a museum collection. More accomplished still. The museum is in Devon; perhaps a local artist.
