Help ID Carved Wood Object-We Haven't A Clue

    Hi, Folks
    Not sure what we have here or even if we're posting in the right forum. Likely a tourist item but we just don't know. It's flattish (2" thick), about 21" long and the wood is unusually heavy. All one piece with a carved out bowl at the one end. We were thinking Indonesia? India? and maybe a game board or for food preparation but we'd be guessing for sure. Note the carving at the sides and top of the bowl. The incised "signature" comprised of 3 symbols doesn't help us either. Help!     No clue but something I would pick up for sure!
    If no good value I would use it for a Reliquary housing in my artwork though. :)

    The "letters" made the same "sense" to me from both views...unrecognizable. Thanks for looking komokwa, KingofThings!
