    Hello friends-
Does anyone know the country of origin of this pair of 13" plates I found? One has a paper label that says P.V.P. The birds are hand painted under the glaze with a craquelure background. Maybe a bit primitive production-wise but pretty cool anyway. I imagine I have the orientation of that first plate wrong. TIA DSCN0669.JPG DSCN0670.JPG DSCN0671.JPG DSCN0672.JPG DSCN0673.JPG

P.V.P. stands for Precio de Venta al Público which was used in Spain. (Translation = Retail Price) From the font, I'd think 1970s.
