Help ID Pottery Vase

    Pure art nouvea ! try searching under france or austria , that was my first thought .

    I think I got the mark upside down. Likely reads Mintons. It was an auction piece that I did not get. Saw it yestarday at the thrift store. The owner buys tons of items from auctions, estate sales etc and sell them in the store.
    Only $5 but still did not buy it as there is a repair to the foot. Should I have bought it?

    Oh, decisions, decisions!

    I just looked through completed Minton vase auctions on eBay. A lot of these nice Art Nouveau vases go unsold.

    I personally think it's a beauty, so would probably buy it, even with the repair and not mind having it around for a long time.

    By the way... is there a difference between Minton and Mintons?
