It was a big day for NOT buying things. All of these pieces were at the same place as the pottery I posted. Mostly I'm curious about the patterns and the function of one piece. My shelves are full of things that do not sell and I really do not want to add to that collection. Sorry, poor photographs from a dark barn with a camera phone.

    1. Thought this would have a "scroll" name but did not find anything that I recognized in McCain's Field Guide.

    2. Elegant Glass? Maker/pattern?

    3. Whatsit? Did this hold small glasses? Pattern or makers?

The first looks like Riverside and the 2nd like Geo Duncan and sons. The names are not coming clearly but the Riverside might be Jersey Lilly

George got the first one right.

No. 1 is Riverside's No 123 OMN Jersey Lily. AKA Center Medallion.

I believe the second is Belmont's Aurora, AKA Diamond Horseshoe.

The third one stands alone, no pattern ist first half 20th century, some may call it Depression, but I can't agree.

Tall's got it right, Belmont No. 12 Aida is correct for the second piece. Then, what is Aurora, Diamond Horseshoe? My error, Its a Brilliant Glass Co. Pattern. Not Belmont.

The 3rd one is Indiana glass. Austin shows it as being used in lines 602,603 and 608 in WVMAG monograph #67 "A Guide to Identification of Glass Center Handled Servers" This is a very useful print to have in your library and buying from the museum supports it.

Thank you for the correction Tallcakes and for the link on the tray ID.

George, does that mean Indiana and Greenwood made the same exact tray? Thank you.

I think its safe to say one mold traveled from Greensburg to Indiana to Smith over a period of maybe 40 of 50 years. Greensburg joined National, was succeeded by Indiana, and then by Smith who didn't develop from Indiana, but bought the mold.
