It may be an early automobile dash clock.

It looks like a desk clock my Grandfather had. It was mounted in a wooden pyramid. The center knurled wheel set the time and the wide hinged flange was the winder.

No, it's not I use to own one of those large car clocks the lever behind is the winding

 

that is exactly do you know anything about it? who made it?

 

Unfortunately, I was about ten years old and remember the clock because it was mounted in a pyramid and yes the winder turned the rear cover.
