Help identify age of pegged bergere chairs

    Are these grooves from a circular saw? They appear straight to me. The square wooden pegs appear to be in round holes. Age anyone? 20200508_180252_resized_1.jpg 20200508_175912_resized_1.jpg

    Yes they are a circular saw. Pit saw marks tend to vary slightly in angle and spacing.

    Pit saw marks are at an angle///////// like this.
    Those marks that appear straight lllllll are most likely from a band saw.
