Help Identify Table and Chair Set

Nice 1920s mahogany dining room set in the "free" Jacobethan Revival mode. A handsome set, but dining room sets are not in demand right now, so the resale would likely be disappointing.

 

Its in remarkably good condition, It must have been very loved.

 

Thanks a lot for the info. I don't want to sell it but I have to due to space restrictions. Do you have any idea of what it may be worth or anyone who might be interested in it?

 

My wife's Aunt purchased the set new. And we have had it a number of years but need to sell it as we have no room for it. Would you happen to know anyone interested in it? We live in a suburb of Milwaukee Wisconsin.

unfortunately .....not many do......and with everyone being around the house for the next year or more.....not many will.

you may do better if u sell the table and chairs separately..

 

You've got a potentially huge market with Milwaukeeland and Chicagoland, but I wouldn't expect more than $200 for everything, and probably less.

 

and the sad part....u can't buy Ikea for that money..........

Yeah, very attractive set in great condition, unfortunately not in demand at the moment.
In addition to comments above, formal dining rooms are getting rare around here at least. People will spend THOUSANDS of dollars to take out a wall going to the dining room to enlarge the kitchen, even if it's a bearing wall. Kinda nutty I think to spend 10k & demo a bearing wall but, it is what it is.

What I wanna know is, when is congress going to legislate about Spam phone calls?
It has got so weird here that I see from my caller ID screen that the number calling me is MY number!
The phone companies allow this sort of thing with "virtual" phone numbers because they are getting paid to look the other way.

 

That's a LOVELY dining room set!!! GOOD Luck selling it!!!! Ours is BOLTED (chairs & table) to the floor, so it's not going anywhere until WE DO!!!

 

We RARELY take a call on the LAND line anymore, and if we don't know the number on our cells, forget it there too.....they have NO SHAME!!! I have NO PROBLEM ANYMORE being RUDE to them.....I used to feel sorry 'cuz they have to make a living too......NOT ANYMORE!!!! SORRY, NOT SORRY!!!
