Featured Help identify this Robert Adam style console?

    This one has me stumped. Appears to be old, drawer dovetails are hand cut. But those legs? Don’t they seem a bit heavy at the feet for that period? And when did brass gallery rails come about?

    Dovetails are beautiful & look good.Can you give us more details of the brasses,feet,undersides of drawers,nails/pegs & back.

    That crossed my mind also. American or English? I pick it up Friday so I’ll have a better look then and upload more pictures.

    It is labeled. I’m having a hard time finding much history on the company other than it has been around since 1780 and 79A4C173-542B-4A11-8EE9-39080371A6D5.jpeg still making furniture into the 1930s. The age is just a guess after finding a similarly labeled piece for sale that was dated to that time, could be wrong!
