    Order of the garter badge for a hat or harness or ?

    I sold it (or one in identical condition) on feebay about six years ago

    British Army Grenadier Guards, Kings Crown, Badge.

    Some had a raised end and a metal clip / split pin went over the ends or a screw back.

    Some Australian and South African regiments wore them too.

    "Puggaree:" Very small dog, descended from the pillows used for afghans. Has purrrrrrr like kitten, and mashed-in face.

    "Honi soit qui mal y pense" is a French maxim used as the motto of the British chivalric Order of the Garter. It is translated as "May he be shamed who thinks badly of it" or "Shame be to him who thinks evil of it" or "Evil be to him that evil thinks."

    Puggaree: Punjabi word for turban.:D
