The story of this table is my wife's great grandmother received this from a doctor's family. Can anyone help me identify this piece?

    Hi Johnny,
I agree on the dates, commonly called a quadtrfoil table. The glass feet are a give away. I love how they made them. They would heat the foot and slip the glass part into the metal and as it cooled the foot would lock on to the glass. Do you know why they used the glass feet? It was so when the carpet was damp the foot did not stain the carpet like an iron or brass foot would.
