We have a Chinese altar table we received as a wedding gift from my mother-in-law that we would like to know more about. Unfortunately she is no longer with us to ask her directly. All we know currently is that it is old. It has lovely carvings on the drawers and sides, as well as some small flowers painted on the front, and appears to me hand made. It's dimensions are 41" long x 13.5" deep x 32" tall. Would love to know age, wood type, and possible value.

Something about the staining and the paint makes me think a 1960s copy, but I could be way wrong. It is a lovely piece.

I think it's a mix. The paint on the main body looks new-ish, or at least not antique. Those panels however... dunno. Those could be old.
