Hello all, My wife bought this rocking chair for $100. Trying to figure out what kind it is or where it’s from. Any help from the experts on this forum would be great! Have a wonderful day all!

A lot of people won't click on links here. Photos must be under 1MB to post directly to your discussion. I've also lightened some of them a bit.

Would think that putting the color 'nutmeg' on the bottom would be a fairly recent innovation.

I agree with @komokwa - probably not even vintage. I got one out of my parents house that was bought in the 1990's .
The sprayed Lacquer on the seat hasn't even been worn from butt use! :)
Still a very nice looking rocking chair!

Look at the stamp on the bottom of the eBay listing I posted a link to. . .it IS an Ethan Allen piece.

Wow, I can’t believe the response speed on this forum. @wiscbirddog thanks for transferring and lightening the photos, I’ll keep that in mind for future posts. I suppose they can’t all be antiques but it’s great to know what it is. The wife thought Ethan Allen too. I’ve got an “antique” couch I’ll take some photos of in a bit and see if the folks on here can’t place it, because I’ve got no clue where it’s from either. Thanks to all of you!
