I need help identifying this spoon. There is no maker's mark. Also what kind of spoon is it; sugar, gravy, etc? It is marked as sterling silver.

It's a ladle, but we need a closer look at the handle design and the bowl, plus measurement of length to know the purpose.

Please post a closeup of the sterling mark as well.

Here are the close ups of the spoon. The sterling silver mark is as close as I can get. It measures almost 6 in. 20210103_200709.jpg 20210103_200537.jpg 20210103_200655.jpg

    At 6 inches, it's a cream ladle.

Wow after looking up all your guys info. Found out it is a 1893 Towel Canterbury cream spoon/ladle. Thank you!

1893 is the year the pattern was patented, certainly could be made after that.
    Just to clarify.
