Help Identifying Candle or Cake Holder

My mother’s had this piece for quite a while, and we’ve never been able to figure out who made it. We think possibly Slag Glass or Fire and Light, but can’t find it in any book or on the web. Would definitely appreciate any help.

Sorry, haha. A little new to this. It’s about 9 inches in diameter, a little over an inch thick (excluding feet), and very heavy. She purchased it a long while back at an estate sale or flea market around West Virginia, Virginia, or Eastern Kentucky.

 

It is a lovely color.
never saw a bottom like that before on a piece but I am not an expert.
Wondering if it could be to hold a round of cheese?

 

If it has anything to do w/ cakes or pastry holders it's @TallCakes.Perhaps a tad small though for said cake ?

I was thinking that too, but usually there is a mark somewhere on their stuff.

not familiar with this one; several companies made similar colored slag glass...
