    Hi All.

My first post so apologies if its in the wrong place.

My grandma is clearing out her spare room and came across this chest of cupboards, its always been in her family and has no idea how she came across is just remembers it always being in the room.

Is it of any worth? Appreciate any help.

Hello Imran, welcome to the forum.
Your post is in the right place, but could you post the pictures full image? Here is how:

Your chest of drawers looks Art Nouveau, but others will be able to tell you more.

Hi, welcome. Your chest looks German/Pennsylvania Dutch.
I hope someone comes along who knows more! That deep color is throwing me off.

From here, it looks like a "sideboard base"? One that originally had a mirrored back, with a top crown and support columns at each end.

Maybe somewhat similar to something like this?

Thanks for the tips guys, apologies, I thought I was uploading the full size image. Anyway here goes. Erstwhile, you may be right, my gran does vaguely remember a mirror being part of the drawers :)

    Is it actually worth anything?

I also think more of a dining room piece. Circa 1900 mahogany and likely English with art nouveau influence.

Value will depend on your market. Brown furniture is down right now everywhere but this would probably have more value in the US than in England. We just don't have that much art nouveau here. If it is missing a hutch, that will affect value downwardly as well.
