Help identifying cup & saucer please

    Style of the flowers is saying Dresden to me.......However most Dresden is a lot fussier then that, and generally marked. I think you may have a cup trying imitate Dresden. Possible it is German. Basically that is just a guess on my part, but may give you a direction to look in.

    Welcome, Minnie! I agree with Bdigger that this is Dresden style most likely by a German maker. I wouldn't spend a lot of time on researching it though. The crack in the cup and wear to the gold pen lines will have an impact on the value - which frankly wasn't that high to begin with. Unless, of course, you have more pieces to the set?

    Many thanks for helpful comments. I thought it was quite pretty but had no idea of manufactory etc.

    I think it's English with that numbering. I'm trying to recall who used that. The gilding looks Coalport.
