Help identifying earthenware drum

    Yes, I can see the pictures now. Welcome to the group! I'm sorry I can't help with an ID. I'm not sure I see anything very distinctive about it though. Could you please send a photo of the bottom? Sometimes it provides us with important clues.

    The base does not show much, there is some kind of leafy design painted on it though.

    The bottom shot did me a much better feel for its size. Like most US folks I remain completely baffled by the metric system. It does look like a storage jar of some type. The potter must have been very skilled.
