Hi All - I have several ginger jars that I have acquired, but am having trouble identifying / dating them. Google has been limited help. Here is an example, others are similar. They appear to be red clay pottery. Any help?

It looks like insects or maybe a flower, rather than script?

CRS this morning. It is a flower mark and I can’t remember the names — one starts with an “f” and the other is something like “catalpa.” I think that it probably dates to late 19th c/early 20th c and looks to be a utilitarian type ware. Just thinking aloud...
