This tray is about 7 pounds or more. Please inform if it is sterling and its age and origin. Thank you so much in advance. 20190515_191854.jpg 20190515_191833.jpg 20190515_191801.jpg 20190515_191819.jpg

I think the last 2 letters are EP wich would mean electroplate.

Any idea of country of origin and what do the other hallmarks mean

Probably the UK. The EP term is seen more there than elsewhere.

But you need to understand that there are NO hallmarks on this piece. The word hallmark applies ONLY to marks applied in association with an official precious metal control regime. Marks on plated items are at best maker's marks, although it is very hard to say what if anything on this piece was intended to represent the maker.

I think you are correct, quirky! The partial crown did not ring any bells - in fact, didn't even look like a crown to me.

The makers mark was not very well stamped, I would say.

I will thank you every time you say that.:)

Just to avoid confusion, the marks are not Egyptian silver marks.
