    Hello everyone,

I've come across this jewellery in our clear out and wondered if anyone can help tell me more about it.

I've absolutely no idea what the stones are. They are quite pretty little pieces though. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The green ones look like malachite. May have been strung as a necklace at some time though looking at the holes.

The brooch is a silver luckenbooth. Early 20th century. Earrings are pretty costume ones. Ring looks smoky quartz/topaz, may well be in gold, I can't see the mark.

These intertwined heart luckenbooth brooches are also called Mary's brooches, after Mary Queen of Scots. The shape resembles an M for Mary.
Looks like yours has an agate in the centre:

The pretty first yellow earrings are costume jewellery, faux pearls and glass:cyclops:
The green ones are effectively malachite, costume too.
Agree with OBB, the big ring is either smokey quartz or topaze, check for gold content/marks.
Any Jewelry gave an interesting id for the Mary brooch! Moss agate:)

Send me that ring and nobody gets hurt. 1960s brutalist.

Brooch is a regimental badge, let me think which. Garter suround and what the hell is the name of that bird.

Necklace is an agate slice in silver.

@Any Jewelry - I can see PGW on one side, and maybe British hallmarks on the other?

Could be, they are too dirty for me to see.

Date letter on the badge is the W for 1952.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

You'll probably see better when Jack cleans the marks........looks like an eagle on the left, either a castle in the middle or an owl on a roost and last looks to be a 'W' with some sort of curly-kew on the left of it......I'm not very happy at the moment with my enlarging & refining program....they keep "updating" it about once every two weeks and frequently it gets messed up and often NOT BETTER than it WAS.....getting VERY disappointed with it!!!! AND they're about to hear from me!!!!!!!

Those marks have already been identified, they are the Edinburgh marks I mentioned, a Scottish thistle on the left, a Castle in the middle, and the W for 1952.:)
