Help identifying lamp

Hi everyone I got this lamp in a storage auction Just trying to id it and possibly get a value on it I’m in Florida the plug looks old there’s a slide on the top of it the shade feels like thin glass I would say it’s around 3-4ft tall

 

The shade appears to be made of small pieces of thin mica? Can you get a closer pic of the detail of the switch and details of the shade and interior?

 

I THINK shade is shell - Indonesia or somewhere out there, saw a lot of this in the late 70's

 

In doing a search, I come up with Capiz shell from the Phillipines. Not sure that is the name of the shell I was thinking of.
Very fragile.

Meant to also say, this style lamp and use of shell for the shade was very popular in the 1970s. The plug and wire seems to support that time frame.

 

70s for sure. Capiz shell shade for sure. The plug is a standard replacement type available for years.

 

As above. Capiz shell from the Philippines. Used a lot for decorative objects in the 1970s.
