I bought these two sculptures. Each about 5 inch tall.
Can't make out maker's name. I suspect most likely italian made.
    Looks like limited edition.
    Anyone can transcribe artist name?

I'm more interested in who made it. Since both have limited edition of 100 markings.

You do know Argento 800 indicates silverplate?

'Argento', or 'Argenta' as on these pieces means 'Silver', 'Argentato' would indicate silverplate. The small mark on the left, as Bakersgma already suggested, is an Italian silver mark, looks to be '898 MI', would be .800 silver by a registered Milan maker (the shield under 'ARGENTA' is a biscione, a traditional symbol of Milan). Sorry don't know the name of maker '898', nor can I decipher the script name, which could be an artist rather than maker...

I'm confused. Is it solid silver or plated?

They bear official Italian marks indicating 800/1000 silver as marked - they would not bear that mark if silverplated (and again, 'Argenta' is 'Silver')...

    Ditto. Definitely .800 silver.
And they are charming. They could be part of a commedia dell'arte series.
