Help Identifying Miniature Brass Cannon

    Hello,

    I've spent a ton of time trying to identify the mark on the underside of this miniature brass cannon but have gotten nowhere. I'm hoping someone will recognize it.

    The cannon measures 14" long weighs 3.5 lbs. The mark is a series of 4 letters: GAAD, AGAD, AADG?

    I don't know if it matters, but the 4 letter mark is embossed, not incised.
