Help Identifying Old Furniture

Hello friends!
My mother and I are trying to sell furniture and we were wondering what this is? The only details my mom has is that it’s European and she ordered it from Italy about 30 years ago. Thank you very much!

In addition to Komo's names, vitrine is another. I'm afraid that your vitrine, even with it's nice mother of pearl decoration and crisp lines, and though it was undoubtedly expensive, is probably about as old as your mother's order. In addition, young homeowners are not enamored with large furniture pieces at the moment, so your return on this one is likely to be minimal. Best to hold on to it if you can.
