Hi this is an heirloom passed down 3 generations and we want to sell it. I’ve looked online and found many similar but nothing matching. I’m hoping maybe someone may know more. I don’t see any identifying marks on it but unable to remove mattress to look inside the frame. It’s full size, not sure of wood either. Sorry for lack of detail. Hopefully pics will help. That's beautiful, I love spindle/bobbin-style furniture!
Hopefully, someone will step in with some info.
I do think, no matter how interesting it is, a full-size bed is a tough sell here where I am in the Midwest USA. What area of the world is it in? This is an international forum.

Keep in mind that auction prices are not retail prices and the $25.00 is a very low end value. However, it just goes to show how little valued these are today. Value really depends on where and how selling. In my Midwest semi-rural location, this would probably be somewhere around $150.00 in a shop. Selling on craigslist or fb marketplace, this would probably need to be under $100.00 here. Even then, it would probably be a hard sell. You might do better in or near a large city.

I think part of the problem is no one wants a full size bed anymore. I think these beds are beautiful, and if I got the chance Id jump on one. Full size doesnt bother me as the other side of my bed seemingly will be unoccupied for the rest of my days !

Thank you! I’m in Bethany Beach, DE. This bed has traveled from Virginia, DC, Baltimore and now in DE! I didn’t even think about the size being an issue but that makes a lot of sense.

You may do better in MD. Maybe start a little high and be willing to bargain. You can always adjust price downward if you need to.

LOL, I guess it depends on your neighborhood... I do fine on Craigslist. (Maybe I'm one of the loons and I don't know it?!) ;)

Perhaps your right but the few times I attempted to sell on there I got very sick of the endless emails and games. Here in Jax they also like to rob a lot of craigslist buyers . Its a thing.

@johnnycb09 when Craigslist became a thing our police department suggested any sales you can meet at the police department for safety.

Where in Jax? I moved back North in 2022 after living in Jax a few years. I was closer to the beach though and didn’t have the issues I heard about. I miss FL beaches
