    Got this small porcelain sign with a bunch of firefighter related items. Was wondering if anyone has scene anything like this? Maybe can tell whether its fire related or just random road sign. Thanks

    Looks like it was in a fire at least.

    I'd ask around in a Polish neighborhood if these were used on houses as a proof of insurance protection back home.

    It's certainly Polish alphabet, that weird L that gets pronounced sort of W.

    I think this is a Polish street sign for mass transit in the 1930s-40s.

    @Scott Eidam

    it iooks like a license plate for the rear of a motorcycle fender ........It is curved ? What is the size ? The rust on the back would certainly be consistent with mud / water / grime stuck behind a plate riveted to a fender .

    WWII souvenir maybe? Some GI may have found it laying around somewhere and decided to take it home.
