Featured Help identifying Silver black powder flask

    We need some help finding the country and time frame that this piece comes from. it appears to be a silver plated over brass possibly.
    the inside doesn’t smell of black powder and I’ve seen a few listed online as black powder/whiskey flasks.

    Indian (India) or Islamic powder horn/flask. Mid 19th - early 20th Century?

    composition would help dating, as would any marks (tiny)

    Now, IF that is a propeller design, it’s clearly a modern reproduction, but still likely from the same area

    Thank you! I went over it again and still no tiny marking I could find. Going to test composition next.

    I think it would have to be a flask as a powder horn would have a narrow pointed opening. Reminds me more of a wine skin than a powder horn.
