Hello everyone. Picked up this really cool stained glass piece today. Looks to be reverse painted. I am no expert but definitely am curious what the history of this piece could be. Anyone have a thought?

    That looks like architectural salvage.

The link simply shows the technique used to create your type of glass. I'm sure some readers of this post are unaware as to how it's achieved. It's just an extra layer of information.

Did the seller relate any information about it?

Oh I didn’t see a link. Might be because I am viewing on the phone. No the seller unfortunately had no info. I thought it was old and potentially from a church.

I can’t see the link either, probably because I’m on a phone too. I would love to see full size images, the window looks lovely.

Ooops, I think @Roaring20s answered my question!

Is it a combination of colored glass and painted, or is that just the lighting?

It’s stained glass that has been hand painted on the reverse

That's the kind of door or porch panel seen widely on Victorian and Edwardian houses here.

Agree, late 19th-early 20th century stained glass.
