Could anyone tell me what type of bird this is and if you think it is Folk Art?
    Thank you!

I would say pigeon or dove, as well.

Susan, can you post a shot of the whole item, as well as one of the bottom? Also, how big is it?

Yes I can post pictures, but I’m not at home so I cannot tell you right now the measurements.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

Great word to use in a listing, too. ;)

@Susan McCammon Is the 315A on the bottom white paint or did you highlight in Photoshop/Paint?

Does look hand done, but I hesitate to call it Folk Art.

No the number 315 and the letter A was on it in white paint when I bought it.

Would anyone like me to post additional close up pictures to get a better idea or view of this bird to help me identify it? I’m trying to get a description of it, but I’m not sure what to say besides it’s a wooden pigeon on a pedestal?
