Help identifying this chair

    Hi, we’ve been trying to identify this chair. It looks like a Windsor style but not quite like anything we have seen. We bought it in Victoria, BC Canada. There are no markings on it that we could find. It’s 46” tall, 26” wide, 18” deep and the seat height is 17”

    On my phone so can't see details too well. 3 board seat? If so, can't be period. Agree, that form is a bit unusual. Since in Canada, maybe an English import?

    Looks like a stylized take on the Windsor. Agreed, not period. The black may be original, but the piece may be mid-20th Century.
