I see the pomegranates. How about lotus blossoms?

I'm more confident of the pomegranates than the flowers. My first thought was fancy, stylized chrysanthemums. Then remembered the photos of passion flowers that came up a while back on another thread & saw a possible resemblance. Pomegranates come up in cameo imagery; botany is a realm I rarely have to tap. Someone will come along to endorse or refute & make other suggestions.

I think pomegranates and chrysanthemums. Very pretty and well-made.

If it is yellow, it is Famille Jaune, yellow family. The 'familles' are classed by their dominant colour. Or the colour which the seller wants to be prominent.;)
Not sure if it is Chinese or Chinoiserie, we would need to see the base.

The leaves are absoutely chrysanths, and that's a spider variant flower. Yes to pomegranate. it's quite a common combination on both Japanese and Chinese pieces. I'm slightly inclined to it being Chinese.

I'm inclined to say Chinese too. Are there markings on the base?

There aren't any markings on the base. Just a small hole, seems like it used to be part of a lamp

Hi SA. Yes, it is balanced enough so it could easily have been sitting on a wooden base and had a circular plate on top holding the lamp fittings. It looks nice.
