    Hi all,
recently acquired this beautiful old table, just wondering if anyone could give me a little bit more information about it? It has a few marks on the top from wear, but otherwise looks to be in good condition. The detail is really beautiful, so thought Id pop it on here and see if anyone could give me a little more information, as I really like it and Im very curious!

    Thanks in advance.

Possibly a Sheraton revival piece from about 1900.

Howard's Restor-a-Finnish will help cover the scratches and give a nice glow to your table.

Hard to say from pictures, but these were often walnut.
    Somewhere around 1890 - 1920s
    Possibly English origin

    Often called an occasional table.

The problem with earlier or later is that the style is fairly specific to the period of about 1900 to 1910. The revival of late 18th C style was contemporary with art nouveau to some extent and you will see a/n elements incorporated into this revival furniture but the tectonic shift in styles dictated by the First World War caused a big dislocation in furniture design in general.

It could have been made in the mid or later 20th C as an uncommon 'revival of a revival', anything is possible. I do not think it is an example of an original 18th C piece, which is the earlier alternative.
