    20201122_182311.jpg Hello
I'm hoping someone may be able to shed a little light on these painted tiles please. They belonged to my parents, however, I'm not sure where they got them from. I don't remember them being around when I was a child. There is nothing stamped on the back of them.
They are 9 inches wide by 14 inches high.
    Thanks so much.

They are Chinese, and fairly recent. Nice quality though.
The one with the tree is of Chinese Immortals. Maybe @Couch Potato Wannabe or @JayBee can help with the translation.:)

    Thanks AJ
How recent do you think? Will be selling so just need to have an idea how to market.

I am not very good at dating these modern faces (more of an antiques person ;)), but they were certainly new when your parents bought them.
With these tiles it is not the age that is a selling point, but the quality, which is nice.:)

    Thanks
Would I market them as decorative Chinese tiles or similar?

I would mention the subjects, Chinese Immortals and six women musicians.:)

I can't tell from the photos if they are handpainted, but if they are, you can mention that too. Check for dots in the coloured parts. If there are dots, they used transfers.

These are extremely high quality and in my opinion the work is of a level that puts them above most other works of the same type. Be careful selling these, try to get the artist identified first if you can.

    Some plaques are quite valuable.

    Thanks @blooey
I am struggling to find a good point of reference on my google searches. I have tried searching as @Any Jewelry has suggested but without much luck. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Yes, get the inscriptions read, post your question on the Asian Art Forums board. You can only post 3 pictures there BTW, so choose your pix carefully, maybe post two separate questions, one for each plaque.
