I've never seen one with a sieve built into the bottom. It's also missing a spigot of some sort. Anyone know what this was made for? Thanks in advance!

Pics should be uploaded now. Took me a while to figure out how to get them small enough to upload.

Likely a "stoneware water cooler" missing the spout and lid. Google those terms to see a bunch.

I've seen coolers with spouts, but never seen one with the sieve in the bottom. That's the part we're curious about- it doesn't seem necessary if it's just for water!
