The new owner wanted to completely renovate both units so it had to be emptied first, and I found this behind the door in a bathroom. Near as I can tell it is marble and brass, there are no makers marks or other identifying marks on it. I'm almost certain that it is genuine marble as the tabletop is polished/smooth on the top/side edge and on the underside it is not. The top measures 15" in diameter and is 3/4" thick. Overall the whole table is 22 1/2" tall. The brass shaft is 2 1/2"The in diameter, and the base is 8 1/4" corner to corner (foot to foot) bottom cylinder and middle sphere are marble as well. I have tried researching this on Google/ebay/Wayfair etc. But could only find things somewhat similar and nothing exact or even very close. Any information on how old or it's origin would be most appreciated along with an estimated value. Thank you in advance! And if any other info is needed don't hesitate to ask. Thanks again.

    Welcome Eric.
Your table appears to be a plant stand with the size given. Cast metal and probably not brass. The construction looks newer maybe 1970s or later. Imho.

OTOH it's definitely worth Free! Looks like it's one damp rag away from going right back to work.

Welcome aboard! The nut and bolt look pretty modern (last 50 years or so) to me, but you’re definitely right about it being beautiful. What I would call a future antique, and what many young people would think of as vintage :)
