    Found among my grandmothers dishes. What is this or what was it used for? Thanks for any help.

    Hi and WELCOME, Debbie, to the forum!!! Although you didn't state the size, your dish looks like a candy dish to me at the moment......I can't identify the pattern, but the "glassies" will be along eventually!!!:):) Love the amber color!

    Thank you for your reply. The dish is 1.5" tall by 5.5 long. It is very cute.

    Hello, Debbie. I don't know what it was designed for but, depending on size, I can see it working very well for something like cranberry sauce as the shape would allow a spoon to stay in without toppling out & making red stains all over your holiday tablecloth. :happy:
