    Good evening everyone!
Does anyone know where this basket is from? Has a little damage to the interior of the top opening unfortunately, but the price was definitely right.

9" in diameter, 4" high, opening is about 5".

    Thanks for looking!

It is not a distinctively traditional basket from anywhere in particular. The brown elements are cane/reed/rattan, which can be readily purchased from craft suppliers. I cannot tell what the white element is. It is well made. Perhaps an artisan piece.

That would be my thought as well, an artisan piece. There are professional basketmakers all over the country, and I would presume in other countries as well, who sell their art through galleries and art fairs. and hundreds of "how to" books detailing how to weave different types of baskets. They are seldom, however, made from local materials, and instead rely on purchased basketry supplies, like rattan.

Thank you @Taupou and @2manybooks, I value both of your input(s) and opinions highly. Sounds safe to say this is artisan or craftsperson's piece. I very much appreciate you taking the time to look.
