Help ID'ing Brass Tray

    This was given to me 30 years ago, from my grandmothers home that had been in the family for 75 years...so I know it's old.

    That being said.....Any info that would help me identify this?
    *** Age, where possibly made, value? ***

    Details:
    14" x 18". Brass thickness: 1/16". Lip sits 3/4" off of the table.
    Heavy!! 4 lbs.
    Hand hammered...Yes?....No?.
    No makers mark. Definitely solid brass.

    I think the handles are newer, drawer pulls. Yes, hand hammered. That's all I got.

    I'd think kinda 1960s-ish with original handles. As to value... I suggest you browse eBay's Completed & Sold listings to get an idea of where collector interest lies.

    It looks like a high school or trade school metal project to me.The planishing (hammer marks) are uneven-finer in the center and larger near the rim.
    These 3 pieces are by Dirk Van Erp and are hand hammered,some of his pieces have more obvious planishing marks.
