I am unable to find any cameo with a material poured in glass as a mold? I'm deadlocked! Sorry.. I'm trying to figure out how to get the pictures to post. Saying file to large. I'm only able to load on media section. This is my first time on this site. I apologize, please bear with me.

Dana, If you are uploading from your Windows computer - right click on your picture and resize your picture to small. When you upload the file that contains your picture here, click on full image. Welcome

Here are Davey, the moderator's, instructions for an Android phone

To place a photo or picture from your PC.
When you have created your post click "Upload a File"
    Then click "Full Image"
Up to 8 pictures in any one post are allowed.
    Keep your photo`s or pictures below 1mb, preferably 640 x 480k.
On Android click and hold the pic. Click on the 3 dots in upper right corner. Click edit. Then click the option on far left and it gives you different sizes to choose from.

I email to myself on cell, as size medium, save back to photo gallery and upload that. Check Full size.

So it looks like Holly has given you some info on your cameo. I’m sure you’ll get more information from others too, when they come online.

Hello, Dana1048. Hollyblue left you a good post at #9 with a couple of links to follow. [I need help just nipped in with the info.] Another link I picked up from her work is this one. If nothing else, the prose will amuse you:

    http://paperweights.cristallerie-hartwig.com/history.html

Your piece is not quite a true sulphide, but it gives that look. Yours is a reverse intaglio that has been filled in with a plaster-like material, rather than a ceramic figure with the glass blown around it.

The original modeling was very well done. It's possible the piece is French, as this one is:
