Help. Kashmir?

Dear friends. I know it's a little off topic. But I hope I can get help here. Here's the situation. A friend of mine gave me two stamps. As a souvenir. I don't know much about postage stamps. I know a lot of them are collected, exchanged and sold. I know about the military. And how can I assume that stamps are dedicated to the Indian armed forces... But! Maybe this is about the Kashmir conflict, it's just a picture of a mountain range in the background, I assume it's Kashmir.

I am not interested in material side, I would like more, what the image means (just soldiers painted or meaning in Kashmir). Maybe, someone here knows about postage stamps. Don't stay indifferent. Tell us what kind of postage stamps.
